Individual Counselling

Many of us have times in our lives when we find ourselves struggling with our feelings and emotions. We may be stressed and anxious, or feel low or even depressed. Sometimes this may be a short term experience that we need help with. Sometimes we can find ourselves challenged by long term difficulties.

The first thing I want to do is to hear about your situation, to help us understand the underlying triggers for whatever it is that you are experiencing. Once we have insight into these deeper issues we can then begin to work on solutions suited individually to you.

Many clients find that 6 to 10 sessions are enough for them to identify the source of their problems and how to resolve them, and also to sustain the changes in the long term. Sometimes it can take longer and this is something we will agree on together.
